On behalf of LICAGE, I would like to cordially invite you to our upcoming meeting in Vienna in June 2009. Liver resection surgery and transplantation has become a standard procedure for an increasing number of patients.

I dare say that anaesthesiologists and critical care physicians have contributed disproportionately to advances in these complex and severe diseases, resulting in improved safety and outcome.
